General information about this Surgery:

Dr Suzen Gregersen, DVM, MRCVS and UKs leading end-of-life and hospice vet and her caring Vets2Home team, have been helping families say goodbye since 2005 in Sussex. As a specialist in her field Dr Suzen and her small personal team specialise in helping beloved pets and their families have a very gentle end at home with only beautiful moments shared - without stress and worry - and in the comfort of a favourite bed or loving arms holding on one last time.

The end of life is in this way as dignified and beautiful as everything that was before. Pet euthanasia is a gift we can give when your dog, cat or rabbit (or any beloved pet) needs our help to not suffer at the end of life. We help you make this decision with dignity and love.

Vets2Home are available 24/7 to help families - also with support and advice - at this difficult time. We are here to help you make a decision at the right time - not too early nor a minute too late.

Please call, email or text us so we can use our wealth of experience to help you as we have helped thousands of families in Sussex since 2005.

"End of life"

I should of left this sooner but I can say it was a beautiful way to say goodbye to our Misty would not hesitate to use this service again it’s a great shame this is not industry standard as it’s the way it should be

"BRACKEN"

Nothing could prepare us for saying goodbye to our beloved Springer Spaniel Bracken, but from the very difficult first call Vets to Home were compassionate & sympathetic to Brackens & indeed our needs.
When Dr Suzen arrived she was not only professional she was so caring, she talked us through the whole process answering any of our questions. We were able to stay with Bracken throughout the whole process, he was never on his own, Brackens passing was peaceful & pain free & we would like to thank the whole team for all their kind words along the way.

"Daisy"

I knew my poor old girl was ready to go and did not want her to suffer the trauma of a journey to the vet. The treatment she received from Vets2Home could only be compared to watching a loved one on a hospital trolley left in a corridor, frightened and confused, to peaceful, palliative care administered at home. The service was compassionate and calm and Daisy simply fell asleep and was carried away in a beautiful bed, complete with pink pillow and cover. Another lovely touch was being left an 'orbituary' card and candle in her memory. It made a hard decision much easier to bear.

"Could not have asked for more"

This review has taken a while to leave, as the subject was too raw for a long time. Now I feel able to do it and I would recommend the service without hesitation. Dr Suzen was professionalism itself. She arrived without fuss and from start to finish was quiet, sympathetic and understanding. To have had to try and get Toby (our black Lab) to the vets would have been too traumatic and ultra-stressful for him. As it was, he hardly knew that she was there. We had time to say our goodbyes without getting him upset. He was able to go with dignity and in a way that suited his nature. He was a gentle dog and deserved to be treated with respect. Thank you for treating him so well.

"Passing of my beautiful Gee"

My beautiful staffie cross Gee aged 14 was put to sleep on the 4th of January 2021.
Right from the very beginning of using the service it was so helpful and professional . Georgie the practice manager was great so helpful and kind
Dr Mara came out to our home and was compassionate , understanding and gentle. I was so grateful that we were able to say goodbye to wonderful boy in the comfort of his own home in such horrible difficult times that we are all facing . I would definitely recommend Vets for Home to anyone. Just to be clear fto anyone thinking of contacting them this is a euthanasia service only. Thanks again Vets for Home, you made a terrible sad time that bit easier xx

"Neisha euthanasia"

Dr Suzen Gregersen came to our home on 20th August 2018 & very gently helped our beloved dog Neisha Pass away at home with us, It was all done in a very caring & loving way.It made a very hard & upsetting experience seem so gentle & loving.
WE will be recommending this service to all our friends who have pets that they would wish to move in this most caring & understanding way .

"Sending Jake to sleep"

I can’t thank Joaquin enough. The nicest most respectful man I could have wished for to come and help my Jakey boy go to doggy heaven. It was a very peaceful experience for both me, my son and most importantly for Jake. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Xxx

"Murphy"

We had to say our final goodbye to our much loved labrador, Murphy, over the weekend. Dr Suzen and her team had been recommended to me by a friend and I am so pleased we asked her to come along. From the minute she entered our home, she was instantly Murphy's friend and ours. She made us feel better straight away by telling us that we had made the right decision, however hard it had been. We were able to take our time at every step of the way and Murphy went into his final, lasting sleep with us all around him and without a moments distress. Such a sad time but it could not have gone any better and for that we will always be grateful. A special service indeed. Thank you.

"mollie"

A very stressful time made bearable by the lovely vet who came to my houseboat to put Mollie to sleep after 16 years of companionship

"Euthanasia"

I would like to say a huge thank you to Joe who came to me today to put our beloved elderly Labrador to sleep. He was kind, compassionate and extremely professional. He made a very hard time that little bit easier especially with encouraging my other dogs to come in to say goodbye. I cannot reccomend the service they provide highly enough.

"Poorly Raplhs gentle passing"

Monday morning panic as I realised things had gone downhill for Ralph
The worst part was waiting as I was so scared for my lovely little chap Ralph the five year old springerpoo...
He had been so poorly all night and I felt helpless.
Dr Suzen arrived and immediately she walked in the tension and panic left me, she assessed and clearly and gently gave us options to make Ralph more comfortable . He had a very calm relaxing injection that sent him into a deep sleep with no pain and we could cuddle him for a jolly long time before we felt it was time to let him begin his second journey,....and his final deep sleep (where he would eventually be chasing squirrels ) the calming reassurance of Dr Susan made us all feel so free of any guilt we were holding in our hearts and helped So very much.. I have never had a dog Before, and hadn't realised this end of life plan can be far less traumatic for ones pet with these wonderful team from vets2home. Thank you Suzen so very much.

"saying goodbye to Archie Boy"

Just to say a massive THANK YOU - for making an aweful- heartbreaking time- the best it could possibly be for our gorgeous Archie boy- such kindness and respect shown to my boy and myself- will always be thankful we chose you x

"Thankyou"

On behalf of Kevin and all the clarke family we would like to thankyou so much for your kindness and caring in our sad loss of our much loved pet Jet and would certainly recommend you to any of our family and friends with pets.

"Highly recommend"

Sadly my beautiful boy Buster was euthanised after a long illness yesterday. I didn't want to take him into the vets surgery as I knew he would get very distressed. My Vet Practice recommended Vets 2 Pets. I am so pleased they did. Busters passing was respectful, pain and distress free and a beautiful goodbye and end to a 13 years with my much loved boy.
