"Sam and Paddy"

I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but in this instance felt I just had to. If any of you out there are looking for a sincere, caring and professional vet's practice, then these are the people for you. I very rarely use a vet, I suppose I have just been lucky with all my dogs. However on this occasion, October 2016, I used them twice in just one week. The first time was when my 11 year old lab, Sam, escaped from the new house over two cattle grids and CVC very kindly bordered him over night and placed an alert on face book, subsequently found by my daughter. They had a member of staff on stand by until 9pm just in case I saw the alert and wanted to pick him up that night. As it happened I rather embarrassingly collected him the next day and was charged an absolute nominal fee for all their inconvenience. The second occasion this week wasn't quite so pleasant. I took my 17 year old lurcher cross, Paddy, for a check up, knowing deep down what it probably entailed. Anne, the vet, couldn't have been more sympathetic and practical all rolled into one. I had prepared myself and she gave me an honest opinion. Paddy is now at peace. So guys, well done you. You made a very unpleasant situation as painless as possible and showed complete empathy and professionalism through out. From Paddy and I, thank you.
